SWWAY (“we”, “us”) runs a marketplace that connects brands with content creators. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the SWWAY mobile app, this website, and our API.
What we collect
Account details. Your phone number and/or email address, and your role (brand or creator). Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we store the identifier it returns rather than a password.
Profile details. What you choose to publish: your display or brand name, photo or logo, bio, city, categories, languages, website, company size, and your social handles.
Audience figures. If you connect a YouTube channel, we read your public subscriber count through the YouTube Data API so your reach is verified rather than self-reported. Instagram follower counts are self-entered and shown as such.
Marketplace activity. Campaigns you post, applications and invitations you send or receive, brands you follow, items you save, reviews you leave, and messages you exchange with people you have an accepted collaboration with.
Images. Profile photos, logos and campaign images you upload, stored on Google Firebase Storage.
Contact enquiries. If you use the contact form on this website: the name, email, subject and message you submit.
What we do not collect
We do not collect payment card details — SWWAY is free to use, and brands pay creators directly rather than through the platform. We do not track your location in the background, and we do not sell your personal data.
Why we use it
To run the marketplace: to show your profile to the other side, to match campaigns to creators, to deliver applications, invitations and messages, and to notify you about them. Aggregated, non-identifying figures help us understand how the product is used.
What other people can see
Your profile, your published campaigns and the reviews you receive are visible to other SWWAY users. Your email address and phone number are not shown to other users. Messages are visible only to you and the person you are talking to — and to our moderators if a conversation is reported.
Moderation and retention
When you delete a message it stops being shown to anyone, and when you clear a chat it disappears from your side. We retain the underlying record for a limited period so we can investigate reports of fraud, harassment or abuse — otherwise anyone could erase the evidence of their own misconduct after being reported.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need in order to operate: Google Firebase (authentication, file storage and push notifications) and Google’s YouTube Data API (subscriber counts, only if you connect a channel). We also disclose data where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can edit or remove most profile information at any time in the app. You can delete your account from within the app — this permanently removes your profile, campaigns, applications, messages, reviews and uploaded images. You can block or report another user from their profile or from a conversation.
To request a copy of your data, or deletion outside the app, email teamswway@swway.in.
Children
SWWAY is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we remove such accounts when we become aware of them.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit, and access to production data is restricted to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a device passcode and tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
